Foundation
Build Knowledge, Infrastructure, and Legitimacy
Timeline: 0–6 Months
The Movement Begins
Just as historic grassroots movements started online with strangers realizing their combined power, we'll organize citizens digitally, inform them factually, and unify under common purpose instead of party loyalty.
Phase 1 is about laying the groundwork—building the community, the knowledge base, and the infrastructure needed to sustain a long-term movement for democratic restoration.
Phase 1 Objectives
Organize Nationally, Operate Locally
Build verified state and county chapters through Discord, Reddit, and community networks. Everyone has a voice, no central gatekeeper.
Key Actions:
- Create Discord servers for each state with dedicated channels
- Establish local meetup groups in counties and cities
- Build communication networks that connect grassroots organizers
- No top-down control—power flows from local communities upward
Civic Education Hub
Create digestible, accessible lessons that explain how money moves in politics, how lobbying works, and how ordinary people can disrupt it.
Key Actions:
- Develop educational content on government structure and processes
- Create infographics and videos explaining lobbying and campaign finance
- Provide resources on citizens' rights and civic engagement
- Make complex political topics understandable for everyone
Transparency Research Teams
Track donations, contracts, and lobby spending through public databases like FEC.gov, OpenSecrets.org, and USAspending.gov.
Key Actions:
- Monitor and document political donations and their sources
- Create public dashboards showing money flow in politics
- Research voting records and compare with donor interests
- Expose conflicts of interest and corporate influence
Small-Donor Model
Replace corporate money with the people. $5–$25 recurring contributions keep us independent. Every dollar and expense is public.
Key Actions:
- Build grassroots fundraising infrastructure
- Accept only small-dollar donations from individuals
- Publish all financial records transparently online
- Prove that people-powered funding can compete with corporate PACs
Legal Structure
Establish the proper organizational framework to operate effectively and legally.
Key Actions:
- Project 535 Foundation (501c3) - Educational and charitable work
- Project 535 Action (501c4) - Social welfare and advocacy
- Project 535 PAC - Direct candidate support and political action
- All entities operate within IRS and FEC guidelines
